Counseling & Psychiatry Services

InnerSourced Solutions is a full-service Outpatient Mental Health Clinic offering counseling, psychiatry, and rehabilitation services provided by psychiatrists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, and licensed mental health professionals. The clinic collaborates with a comprehensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program, with no current waitlist for therapy or medication management.
Services are delivered in various comfortable settings, including in-person, online, and locations like homes and schools. Prospective clients must have BCBS/Carefirst, United Healthcare, Maryland Medicaid, or be uninsured while applying for Maryland Medicaid, with staff available to assist in this process.
Key services include:

Individual Therapy: One-on-one counseling for personal expression and support.

Family Therapy: Counseling to help families manage challenges related to a loved one's mental disorder.

Group Therapy: Support for adults, children, and adolescents facing similar issues, often integrated with individual therapy and medication management.

Psychopharmacology: Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management conducted by a psychiatric nurse practitioner to assess and monitor the need for psychotropic medication.

​Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRP)

What is PRP?
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) services support individuals with mental illness in achieving greater independence. PRP assists participants in accessing community services and resources, ensuring optimal treatment and care. Rehabilitation Coordinators provide support in various settings, helping clients improve daily living skills (e.g., personal hygiene, organization, time management, nutrition, and money management) and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
What Will We Do?
PRP Coordinators will meet with you or your child several times a month to work on rehabilitative goals:

For Children & Adolescents: Services focus on promoting positive peer interactions, effective communication, and self-help skills, tailored to individual needs and environmental stresses. Children and adolescents are seen four times a month.

For Adults: Services aim to enhance community independence with minimal intrusion, assisting in building support networks, social and coping skills, and crisis intervention. Adults receive help with money management, securing entitlements, health education, and local transportation. They are seen six times a month and can participate in monthly skill-building groups.
Where Will Services Take Place?
Service locations are based on individual needs, ranging from one-on-one visits to group sessions in the home, office, or community settings.
Who is Eligible for Services?

Must actively participate in therapy/counseling at least twice a month.

Requires a written referral from the independently licensed mental health professional treating you.

Adults must meet priority population diagnostic criteria .

Must have Maryland Medicaid or self-pay for services.

Youth Care Coordination
​
Youth Care Coordination (YCC) is a supportive service designed for children, adolescents, and transitional-aged youth with serious mental health disorders. It helps them access essential medical, mental health, social, educational, and other services to enhance community functioning. The program focuses on connecting clients with necessary resources while empowering families through a structured, collaborative approach to achieve positive outcomes.

Care Coordinators assist families in planning, linking, coordinating, and monitoring services tailored to individual needs. The program includes skills training for youth and their caregivers to foster independence in managing symptoms and behaviors.

Overall, YCC aims to ensure that youth receive personalized support to thrive in their communities while addressing their mental health needs.

Individuals where the primary diagnosis is a developmental disability

Individuals seeking only a Diagnostic Assessment or one time psychiatric evaluations

Individuals convicted of a child sex offense
